It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

IMWAYR is hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey and is a little round-up of the week for bloggers that read. I've had a bit of a rubbish reading week actually but have been blogging loads. I haven't been able to concentrate much so looking forward to having a better week.

Books I've read:
The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness 4/5
Undead and Unwelcome by MaryJanice Davidson 2/5

Currently reading:
Dead Man's Grip by Peter James

Upcoming reads:
I tend to jinx myself by committing myself to books here but I need to read Submarine by Joe Dunthorne for book group at the very least!

Giveaways:
My 100 Follower Giveaway winners were announced.
I Left My Tent in San Francisco
I am also taking part in Small Blogs, Big Giveaways!

I also blogged about:
Top Ten Beach Reads | I'm Going to the Olympics! | One Girl's Thoughts on Sci-Fi | Wild Card Wednesday | All Things French | Do Buy a Book for its Cover | Incoming! | Creative Commons | Sunday Self | Q+A with David Nickle | I Turned Out All Right

  1. I always leave my book group book to the last minute too. It's not that I don't want to read it but somehow I always forget about it.

  3. These are new to me titles, so I will be looking into them further as they sound quite intriguing. Happy reading and enjoy your week. My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/06/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-42.html

  5. I'll be looking forward to hearing about the Peter James. I've got the first in that series in my TBR stack.

And I've noticed the same trend regarding committing to reading something. My Planning to Read shelf on shelfari is like the kiss of death -- anytime I put a book on there it gets completely neglected in lieu of other titles. Working on remedying it.

  7. Isn't it odd? It seems if I write I will read a specific book, something interferes with it, much like what you said. Are these mysteries, that you've read?
