Galaxy National Book Awards

The winners of the Galaxy National Book Awards will be announced tonight at a glitzy party where I imagine everyone eats chocolate! Here's a little recap of the short-listed books I've read and reviewed (click the cover to go to my review - some of them are pre-blog).

Paperback of the Year

Also nominated: The Postmistress by Sarah Blake, The Red Queen by Philippa Gregory (TBR) and You’re Next by Gregg Hurwitz.

Popular Fiction Book of the Year

Also nominated: A Tiny Bit Marvellous by Dawn French, Daughters-in-Law by Joanna Trollope, Gillespie and I by Jane Harris and My Last Duchess by Daisy Goodwin.

You can see the other categories (none of which I've read, shame on me) on the Galaxy National Book Awards website and follow award updates on Twitter.

Everyone loves comments, right? I read them all and do my best to visit your blog if you leave a link (and you're not a spambot).
