It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey

Where do these weeks go, eh? I've gone all off schedule and started reading June releases but it's way more enjoyable reading what you fancy. I'm also taking part in Bout of Books this week so I'm hoping to get round a few more blogs than normal (though not tonight, as I've just got back from book group). I appear to have been "currently reading" Railsea for a week now but I keep putting it down. Just not clicking with me although I do really love the world. I will keep reading bits in between other books but it's not a page-turner for me.

Read last week:
The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker
The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Greatest Love Story of All Time by Lucy Robinson

Currently reading:
Railsea by China Mieville
Bellwether Revivals by Benjamin Wood

Upcoming reads:
The Somnambulist by Essie Fox

Also on the blog:
Win Charlotte Street! | Q+A with James Smythe | #boutofbooks 4.0 | Incoming!

  1. I keep thinking I should give Railsea a try - Mieville books are always nominated for a ton of book awards, but so far, while I adore his world building skills, the 2 books I've read haven't done it for me. But I keep wanting to read more.

  2. How did you find The Selection and The Greatest Love Story of all time? Are they page turners? enjoyable and easy to read? I've had The Selection on my list for a while and Netgalley have it on there for uk readers but they've never answered my request x
