AKA Showcase Sunday

I managed to read and review Last to Die already even though I only received it Friday... Was so excited to get a copy early and Rizzoli and Isles are such easy reading. I've been looking forward to Bethany Griffin's The Masque of the Red Death for ages too so that's getting bumped up the pile. I also succumbed to a NetGalley click as so many people have been talking about Throne of Glass, it better be good!

For Review:
Last to Die by Tess Gerritsen (Bantam Press)
The Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin (Indigo)
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas (Bloomsbury)

Music or Death by David Owen
Strangeness on a Train by Julia Crouch

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

  1. Hoping to get my hands on Masque of the Red Death some time too. Even dug out my Poe book earlier to finally read the original story.

  2. I like the Rizzoli and Isles tv programme so may have to check out the books. I've heard so much about Throne of Glass so hope you enjoy it.

    1. I liked the TV show but they are so different, Jane Rizzoli isn't glamourous at all in the books and Maura is a lot less sociable.

  3. I can't wait to see what you think of Throne of Glass! I didn't like Masque of the Red Death too much, but I hope it works out for you!(:

  4. TOG is very good, Ellie! Hope you like it and very jealous of Masque of The Red Death! That book has been on my wishlist for ages. Enjoy!

  5. I love Tess Gerritsen <3 I've read all her books and they are amazing. The masque of the red death is high on my wishlist and I recently got my copy from Throne of glass too :D

    Happy reading! ^^

  6. Great "Incoming" for this week, Ellie.

Throne Of Glass and Masque Of The Red Death are doing the rounds at present, and I've put Throne Of Glass on my wish list because of the reviews and the UK cover.

I like the cover for Strangeness On A Train. Looks like something from a 1950's film.

    As always, enjoy your reads.

  7. Awesome haul this week! I have already added it to my TBR list.
    Thanks for sharing,

  8. I've only read one Rizzoli and Isles book, but I loved it and need to read more. I've seen Masque of the Red Death at my library, but didn't think much of it, however if it is based on the original Poe I might have to try it out!

Everyone loves comments, right? I read them all and do my best to visit your blog if you leave a link (and you're not a spambot).
