AKA Showcase Sunday
I think these weekly memes are the equivalent to food diaries for book addicts; I always think I’ve had a pretty good week until I sit down to tally up what books have come in… There’s always more than I realised! Being off work last week means I have read four of these already so they don’t count! 😉
For Review:
The Explorer by James Smythe (Harper Voyager)
The Shifting Price of Prey by Suzanne McLeod (Gollancz)
Monkeys with Typewriters by Scarlett Thomas (Canongate)
Broken by A.E. Rought (Strange Chemistry)
Bought:
The Cold Kiss of Death by Suzanne McLeod
The Bitter Seed of Magic by Suzanne McLeod
More Tea, Jesus? by James Lark
Freebies:
All That Mullarkey by Sue Moorcroft

So, you recommend Suzanne McLeod then? :p
Yes! Just great to get addicted to a series again…though there's only 4 books so far so I need to encourage her to write faster 😉
Ooh yes. I had that with the Alex Craft books recently and there are only three of those!
Broken looks great, I love the cover! <3 Great books, I hope you enjoy them all! 🙂

I haven't read anything by these authors before. I hope you enjoy them. Love the cover for The Explorer. Have a great Sunday.

More Tea, Jesus? sounds fantastic! I'll have to check this one out.
More Tea, Jesus intrigued me just by the title and after reading the blurb I've scared the dog by laughing out loud. Sounds like such a funny book definitely looking forward to the review! Enjoy your new books! Four books read this week? Phew you read fast, I need to get a move on! 🙂

I think you did okay this week. 🙂
*Gasp* a new Scarlett Thomas book! I still can't decide whether I really liked The End of Mr. Y or that it was not for me… I so need to read another book by this author!
With all these books coming in (btw, love the cover of The Explorer), are you still having a hard time deciding what to read? 😉
I had read most of these by the time I started "Me Month"! I think my problem is too many books. I normally go to the review pile first unless I'm hankering after something in particular, and that's around 10-20 to choose from. Now I have 500+ to choose from with my personal TBR!
