The Month That Was... November 2013

I'm really not sure where November went. It started off with World Fantasy Con and an awful lot of books and has vanished since. I feel I've barely read anything and yet I still have plenty of reviews that need writing before the thoughts vanish from my brain. Argh! But Christmas is around the corner which just means me time for me, FTW.*

*I am writing this in my elephant onesie.

Here's what made it onto the blog...

Disappointed with: The Falconer by Elizabeth May

Read and awaiting review: Shadowplay by Laura Lam, The Holders by Julianna Scott

I was shortlisted for the Team Robot Blogger Award, woohoo! Dan Newman stopped by to tell us a bit about the island of St. Lucia. Of course I went to see Catching Fire too.

  1. I haven't read any of them, just seen the elephant pic. Love it! Bet that keeps you toasty during the winter.

  2. I can't believe World Fantasy Con was only at the beginning of this month. It feels ages ago! But at the same time November feels like it's just disappeared. Christmas soon though! :-D I love December so much.

  3. My month has been shamefully poorer than yours, so I think that is quite a good month you have there.

  4. Any month that starts with a good convention like that has to be a good month! It is crazy how quickly November rushed by. Hope we can put the breaks on December a bit, but I'm not holding my breath.

  5. A busy month for you! I need Eleanor and Park in my life SOON!

  6. Lazy Days sounds kinda weird but interesting... And I'm FAIRLY sure I have Anno Dracula somewhere, if I could only find it. This is the problem with having most of your books in boxes still - when you suddenly get the impulse to find something it takes forever! *mental note to self to GET THE HELL ORGANISED once we have time to ourselves after the New Year*

For some reason I can't get across to see the elephant onesie (it just reroutes me to the Instagram homepage), but to be honest the mental image alone made me laugh so... Nice going. :D

  7. I think you did a good job in november, reviewing and all :)

Everyone loves comments, right? I read them all and do my best to visit your blog if you leave a link (and you're not a spambot).
