AKA Showcase Sunday
My iron willpower broke shortly after last week’s incoming post went up. I bought a few Kindle sale books that I had passed on in 2013 and ordered a non-fiction book that I’d been wanting to read for ages. The Discworld Collector Editions were pre-ordered (and super cheap) so really don’t count towards this week’s slapped wrists. I’ve also wanted to re-read The Wolves of Willoughby Chase for years (literally) and I love the Vintage cover, so that was the perfect excuse.
The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith (Headline)
Bought:
Inconvenient People by Sarah Wise
The Wolves of Willoughby Chase by Joan Aiken
Indexing by Seanan McGuire
The Reason I Jump by Naoki Higashida
Life After Life by Kate Atkinson
The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
Small Gods by Terry Pratchett
Pyramids by Terry Pratchett
The Winter Witch by Paula Brackston
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

I love, love the Vintage Children's Classics! I also have The Wolves of Willoughby Chase, but I've yet to read it.
Pratchett's covers! Wow, looking fine! The Winter Witch looks good, too, I have to look this one up myself. And I have to get on Gaiman's books asap.
Happy reading!
The covers for Pratchett's books are BEAUTIFUL! And I love that you got The Geography Of You and Me – I hope you enjoy it!
Have a great Sunday Ellie!

Fantastic haul 🙂
I love the look of The Witch Finder.
Happy reading!
The Wolves of Willoughby Chase was one of my favourites as a child, I have a very battered copy that I must have read at least ten times (children are more obsessive than adults!). Hope you enjoy it too.
Funnily enough I've seen quite a lot of different covers for The Winter Witch and all were gorgeous! Enjoy all your reads, Ellie! I don't think you've done too bad 🙂
Haha! these Kindle sales or freebies get to us all 🙂

Books are like a drug, aren't they?!
I'm currently working my way through the Discworld series, starting from the beginning, and I'm really enjoying it.
Can't think who suggested your purchase of The Ocean At The End Of The Lane. (Cough, "Guilty")
The Terry Pratchett's books look nice. Which book would you suggest to somebody who hasn't read any of his books as a taster?
Enjoy your reads.
Please feel free to check out my haul for this week at http://thewanderingbookworm.wordpress.com/2014/01/11/book-haul-christmas-2013-haul-part-three/
Pyramids was the first one I read and I think it works well by itself. For once I don't recommend starting at the very beginning! One of my favourites is Thief of Time.
Ohhhhhh the pretty Pratchetts! And I do hope you enjoy the Ocean at the End of the Lane. When I got to the end, I went right back to the beginning and started over. I NEVER do that nowadays.
Those are great looking Pratchett's. Even though I already own a copy of Wolves of Willoughby Chase, I really want that copy.
I love the covers of those Terry Prachett books!! Amazing!
Ahhh those covers are stunning!! I hope you enjoy these books, Ellie :).
I think Hodder are just about alive on NG! I requested it awhile ago so I've no doubt you'll have The Three soon 🙂
I can't believe I didn't know Seanan McGuire had a new series coming out – I've clearly been a bad fangirl recently. I'll have to go out and find that one ASAP. I've had The Ocean At The End Of The Lane sitting on my shelf since the summer, just waiting for me to have time to read it.
I hope you enjoy your books!

My book post
How many book cases do you actually have? I love looking at your incomings, if I miss them here I see them on twitter or insta

5 big ones and some other shelf space. I don't keep ALL the books I get though. I regularly take bags to charity shop/book group. Need to sort out bookshelves at some point this year, they're a mess.
Inconvenient People has recently joined my TBR – it looks great.
