AKA Showcase Sunday

A couple of weeks' worth of books (and I only bought one, go me) including a couple I'm really looking forward to: Bird Box and Echo Boy. I've already read The One Plus One (fantastic) and Plague and Cholera (interesting but lacking something) so they barely count.

For review:
A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan (Titan)
Bird Box by Josh Malerman (HarperCollins)
The Heart of Valour by Tanya Huff (Titan)
The One Plus One by Jojo Moyes (Penguin)
The Dead Lake by Hamid Ismailov (Peirene Press)
The Front Seat Passenger by Pascal Garnier (Gallic Books)
Heartbeat by Elizabeth Scott (Mira INK)
Plague and Cholera by Patrick Deville (Little, Brown)
Echo Boy by Matt Haig (Random House)

Brazen by Kelley Armstrong

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

  1. The one plus one is the only one I have read, will need to do a bit of searching to see what the others are about. I am so jealous, you always get great book post.

  2. Bird Box is one I've been reallllly itching to read, can't wait to see what you think!

  3. I have heard good things about Heart Beat! I hope you enjoy it! :)

I don't know any of the other books so I will have to look them up!

I hope you enjoy all of your books and enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

My Current Giveaway: A book of your choice!

  4. The One Plus One is on my wishlist and I am desperate to get it this month - roll on payday!

  5. A Natural History of Dragons is supposed to be very good...

    1. I wanted to read it when it came out in the US so really pleased it's out here (officially) too.

  6. I've read a couple of Matt Haig's books and enjoyed them so I'd be interested to see what you think of Echo Boy. The One Plus One is on my to get list - can't wait for that, I love Jojo's books. Hope you enjoy them all.

  7. A Natural History of Dragons is slow but good, Ellie! Hope you enjoy it and have a lovely week! :)

  8. I'm dying to read Bird Box too. Looking forward to hearing what you think!

  9. Nice books, new titles for me.

  10. Thank you for visiting my haul post.

The description for The One Plus One sounds interesting and I've picked up the Free Sampler for my Kindle to see what it's like.

    Enjoy your reads.

Everyone loves comments, right? I read them all and do my best to visit your blog if you leave a link (and you're not a spambot).
