Which hour was most daunting for you?
I started to struggle in hour 13 (1am my time) and thought I was going to fall asleep on my book. Did go to bed at hour 15 and then didn’t feel all that tired. But sleep was sensible!
Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
Boy’s Don’t Knit was fun and really easy to read.
Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Nope 🙂
What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
I kept a bit to myself and Twitter this time round.
How many books did you read?
Four!
What were the names of the books you read?
My Sister Lives on the Mantlepiece by Annabel Pitcher, The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon, Boys Don’t Knit by T.S. Easton + Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
Which book did you enjoy most?
It was great to get back into Scion with The Mime Order. Was nice to finish off with Alice which I managed to get to the end just in time (plus my copy is illustrated – good for tired eyes).
Which did you enjoy least?
Actually I enjoyed them all.
How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
This was my 7th readathon so definitely will carry on doing them. I think I’d like to host a challenge again next time and maybe do more stuff other than reading.

I really struggle to balance the reading/other stuff thing too. I either get really intensely into reading and neglect the social side, or spend too much time doing challenges and neglect both… I don't think I've found my ideal ratio yet, so I'll keep working on it. I seem to fare better in April, when it's spring and the prospects for the year are going up rather than down, so I might sign up as a cheerleader or challenge host next time, mix things up a bit. 🙂
You did so well and had the most amazing final page-count surge there, go you. Now… go relax and watch Netflix for six hours, you deserve it! xx
I never do well when I'm required to read so I don't usually join these things or challenges but I still enjoy watching everyone else's enthusiasm.

Congrats on a great read-a-thon. Look forward to seeing what challenge you come up with, if you host next time! See ya in April!
You made awesome progress, and it sounds like you had a bunch of fun, too. Congratulations!
