4th Blogoversary Celebrations Start Here
On Friday this little blog turns four years old! I’ll have a few posts in order to celebrate, looking back at some of my favourite books and some thoughts on blogging in general. But first up, let’s have a little giveaway!
Either £25 of National Book Tokens (UK/Ireland)
or
£25 worth of books from The Book Depository (International)
Please note, you don’t have to follow to enter but if you do select any of the additional entries I will check that you’ve done what you say you’ve done. If you subscribe via email you must also confirm the subscription when the email comes through.
You can use National Book Tokens in hundreds of indie and chain bookshops in the UK and Ireland* as well as online at Hive. If the winner is international they must give me a list of books to purchase as I cannot provide vouchers for The Book Depository.
*Irish tokens will be in Euro equivalent.

I would love to read any one of Kathy Glass's books
I really want to buy myself a nice set of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, but I might stock up our Pratchett library as a tribute to the great man instead.
The clothbound Discworld editions are really nice (look better in person than online).

Thanks for this awesome giveaway! I'm thinking of getting an illustrated version of Alice in Wonderland, a few books by Roald Dahl or a few Terry Pratchett Discworld novels. 🙂
I have a really nice Penguin clothbound illustrated Alice in Wonderland, though the illustrations are quite modern and abstract.
I'm lusting after The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro
I hope to get round to reading this soon!
I'm not sure what I'd buy – probably some crime fiction, knowing me! Or Ghettoside by Jill Leovy – some non-fiction for a change!
Congratulations Ellie! Four years has gone quickly! I must sort out some sort of blogoversary post soon too. If I won I would probably choose some lovely Richard Yates books in the Vintage red spine editions. x
I love those editions, they match a couple of my bookcases perfectly!
CONGRATULATIONS FELLOW ELLIE! I love the National Book Token/Caboodle games and emails, but I haven't had one to spend since I was about 13! If I won… hmmm… I'd definitely get All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, I've had my eye on that for ages. I'd probably treat myself to something a bit more expensive, like The Ship – that sounded great when you reviewed it and the hardback's so lovely! Or maybe that Asne Seierstad one about the massacre in Norway, that sounds excellent too. DAMMIT NOW YOU'VE GOT ME WANTING TO BUY EVERYTHING AGAIN. 🙂
I wanted to do book tokens as it covers both the bookshop supporters and online buyers…plus if you give Amazon vouchers there's no guarantee they'll be spent on books.
I read anything so I might go for a murder or something or a mystery
The girl on the train
All romantic books.. thanks for the chance!!!
I'd love to be able to buy more books in The Game of Throne series. Thanks fa great giveaway and happy Blogoversary …x
Divergent Series
I would get books by J.D. Robb.
Tough question – I haven't bought books in a while so there's a fair few I want.
At the moment I'd have to go for You by Austin Grossman – it's one of the books recommend if you loved Ready Player One, and I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms from that now :p
Also, it's my four year blog birthday next month – I didn't realise we'd started up so close to each other 🙂
I have a feeling I've read something by Austin Grossman before but I can't think what.
I've discovered this week that so many in my blogging circle (sounds like a cult) started the same time.
It will sound funny, Ellie, but I'd buy Earthbag Building book :))) This days I only buy hardbacks if it's something I can use – recipes, crafts, etc. The rest goes on kindle. Fingers crossed 🙂
I try and buy something useful or a pretty edition if I get vouchers too.
I would get Polaris, and maybe the pre-order of Saint Anything!
I'm thinking Terry Pratchett.
I've been dying to read A Darker Shade of Magic, Golem and The Jinni, and The Winner's Curse 😀 Thanks for the giveaway!!
Oh and I entered a wrong entry on the tweet section;

Believe it or not, I just read my first Harry Potter book (*ducks down in embarrassment*), so I will probably order books to continue on with the series.
I also have an extensive wish list…but would maybe plump for a book by Juliet greenwood.
Congratulations!
Ooh Station Eleven! That answers my earlier instagram question about whether to read Throne of Glass too 🙂 happy four years! My blog was four in January, crazy how many of us started blogging around the same time!
Both excellent books! Though you'll definitely need the other ToG books too once you've finished the first 😉
Congrats on blogging so long! I hope I can keep it up as long as you 😉
Congratulations on 4 years! If I won then I'd probably buy Seventh Grave and No Body by Darynda Jones (love that series), I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson (I keep hearing great things, plus Gayle Forman recommended it at an event I attended), and Love Bomb by Jenny Mclachlan (because it sounds cute & fun and I enjoyed Flirty Dancing) 🙂
Congratulations on your blog anniversary, here's to many more 🙂 Many of the books I would like haven't been released yet but two on my list are The Monogram Murders Sophie Hannah and The Spice Box letters by Eve Makis – plus so many on my WL to choose from!
Happy 4th Blog-iversary 🙂 What wouldn't I buy if let loose in a book shop! Top of my 'want' list right now is If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things by Jon McGregor – I've just finished reading a library copy and I'm hating that it has to be returned.
Something crimelike for my brothers birthday
There are always so many new books I want…
At the moment it would be the latest 'InCryptid' novel from Seanan McGuire, and two from Gail Carriger – the 3rd 'finishing school' novel and her new one about Prudence/Rue which just came out. But there are so so many on my tbr list 🙂

I keep missing my blogoversary – I start out every year meaning to do something to mark the date and then completely forget by the time July comes around!
I think I'd get the amazing looking Waterstones special edition of The Buried Giant – it's gorgeous and a book that I'm dying to read. It's a wonderful boyfriend gift – the last thing Andy got me as a "present" (and it was billed as that in a text) was a pack of bananas from one of his company's packing warehouses 😐
i'm thinking about getting a darker shade of magic or throne of glass by sarah j maas
The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simons 🙂
(Ileana A.-rafflecopter)
I would love to get Anne Bishop's Murder of Crows.

I've just discovered Haruki Murakami and would like to get all his books!
I new release and something that isn't available here in my country.
Probably a set of books for my son
I would buy Victoria Hislop and Liane Mariarty books.
The books on my wishlist at the moment are a very eclectic mixture. I'd probably get either H is for hawk or the new Philippa Gregory book. Actually with £25 to spend, I'd get BOTH.
