AKA Showcase Sunday

There's been a steady drip of unsolicited post coming in over the last few weeks. I think I only asked for one, although there are definitely a few that have caught my interest. However with holiday coming up, I'm spending more time faffing about on the internet looking at places to eat than actual reading.

Which of these would you read?

For review:

One by Sarah Crossan (Bloomsbury)
The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich (Orion)
Echopraxia by Peter Watts (Head of Zeus)
Dark Star by Oliver Langmead (Unsung Stories)
Boxes by Garnier Pascal (Gallic Books)
Mademoiselle Chanel by C.W. Gortner (HarperCollins)
The Silvered Heart by Katherine Clements (Headline)
No Other Darkness by Sarah Hilary (Headline)
The Dress by Kate Kerrigan (Head of Zeus)
The Traitor by Jonathan Holt (Head of Zeus)

Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor
Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor
Wild by Cheryl Strayed
The Yellow Wall-Paper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

  1. To be perfectly honest, looking over the unsolicited books you got this week makes me glad that I'm no longer taking ARC's as a general rule. It's more fun to read what I want.

But I guess I'd start with One. Why not?

    1. It doesn't really matter if I'm accepting them or not, they still arrive. I don't feel any obligation to read them, just means more for my free beach books box or the charity shop :)

  2. Woot Days of Blood and Starlight!!! Prepare to have your heart ripped out! :D

  3. Mademoiselle Chanel sounds really good, that one's gone onto my library list already! And I really want to read Wild soon so that I can watch the movie. :)

Everyone loves comments, right? I read them all and do my best to visit your blog if you leave a link (and you're not a spambot).
