The Month That Was... April 2019

+International Giveaway

My monthly updates and giveaways are back! I liked the idea of more frequent life and book updates, but they were just too hard to keep up with. I know I can manage once a month at least! If anything particularly exciting happens, I will try and do some non-bookish posts. Anyone interested in posts which are really just loads of photos of Scully and the garden?

Because I have been so terrible at keeping up with reviews lately, you can win any one of the books mentioned in this post, not just the ones pictured. Please note that the giveaway is open to countries Wordery and/or The Book Depository ship to. The winner will receive a brand new copy of their chosen title.

  1. I'd like to see photos of your garden! I take so many of mine, they have a separate blog from my books. Thanks for doing the giveaway! I haven't done one in a long time because I felt people were loosing interest . . . is it possible to be selective about a book I'd like to enter for a chance at? (I already have Racing in the Rain, really interested in War Doctor, Other Words for Smoke, and Boy and His Dog at the End of the World)

    1. You get to choose the book if you win. I posted in a bit of a rush so sorry if not clear, I'm not giving away all the books, just one of the winner's choice.

  2. You’ve read some great books this past month. I like the sound of War Doctor particularly

FYI ... the way Your Rafflecopter form is set up, I’m stalled at Follow on Instagram, as I don’t have an Instagram account, so I’m not sure what the 5th entry is

    1. I'll take a look when I'm back on my laptop. It shouldn't be a required option so not sure why it's blocking you. I thought I'd actually deleted the 5th thing!

    2. Ah ok. You get double entries for following on Instagram. So there are only 4 options but 5 available entries.

Everyone loves comments, right? I read them all and do my best to visit your blog if you leave a link (and you're not a spambot).
