Wyrd and Wonder is a month long celebration of all things fantasy hosted by Imyril @ There Is Always Room for One More, Lisa @ Dear Geek, Jorie @ Jorie Loves a Story, Ariana @ The Book Nook and Annemieke @ A Dance with Books.
Wyrd and Wonder will be celebrating its fifth year this year. The timing has never been right for me to join in before, but it just so happens I will have oodles of free time in May, so I’m looking forward to sharing some fantasy content, on the blog and my dusty Instagram. And the forest fantasy theme aligns perfectly with some of my Secret Project plans.
There are lots of way to join in, celebrating fantasy across any media, be it books, film, art or games. There are daily prompts, weekly top fives, prizes and a fantasy-loving community to hang out with for a month.
There may also be art! I’ve been meaning to do some lino printing, something I remember enjoying in the distant past, so Wyrd and Wonder could be a good inspiration for that. Overall I want to get in the habit of doing something creative each day, so there may be little doodles for some of the prompts.
You can find out more about the event from any of the hosts. Check out Imyril’s post for an overview of what’s planned.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I love fantasy and my current semester will just be ending as May commences. Maybe, I’ll join in the fun. I need to think about it for a bit. Thanks for letting me know about it, though.
Welcome aboard Ellie. I’m happy to hear you are also thinking about doing some art for W&W. Please don’t hesitate to tag me in anything directly so I can see it. I love art <3
