I’m going straight from readathon and diving right into Wyrd & Wonder, a month long celebration of all things fantasy. I seem to have read a lot less fantasy than usual this year, so lets make amends. Best laid plans are never set in stone, but here’s what I have lined up to read this month.
Wyrd & Wonder TBR
The Ballad of Perilous Graves by Alex Jennings #gifted
The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen #gifted
Seasonal Fears by Seanan McGuire
Gossip from the Forest by Sarah Maitland
When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill
A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross
And not pictured:
Fevered Star by Rebecca Roanhorse
Twin Crowns by Catherine Doyle + Katherine Webber
Book of Night by Holly Black
Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater #gifted
I’m hoping to have at least two W&W themed posts each week but I haven’t done much preparation, so we’ll see how that goes. I do have a review of The Stardust Thief ready to go (spoiler, I loved it).
I’m looking forward to checking out everyone’s posts this month.

You have a great sounding TBR. When Women Were Dragons sounds pretty epic. I’ll have t check it out.
I LOVE your Good Omens book ends. They’re so awesome!!! I’m very excited about Wyrd and Wonder. I’ll be joining in starting in mostly on Wednesday after I’m done with finals. I hope you enjoy reading A River Enchanted. I really liked it a lot.
Oh, it’s not from Good Omens. Oops. I didn’t realize it’s was a Daughter of Smoke & Bone quote. It just seems so Aziraphale and Crowley, lol.
They’ve been gathering dust since I got them in a special Illumicrate box, so I thought it was about time I used them.
I’m so excited to give Fevered Star a try soon, here’s hoping we both enjoy it. Happy reading!
Omg that’s a lot of books!!! Are you a fast reader/do you think you’ll get through all of them? (I wish I was a fast reader.) Also jealous you have Book of Night…I really want to read that one! Have fun during W&W!

I usually read 8 books a month but I’ve just been made redudant so I have a bunch of extra time this month. I am rubbish at sticking to TBR lists though so I will be surprised if I read all of these.
That’s a good amount! I’m not so great at sticking to a TBR either unless I’ve committed to a review–that’s why most of my TBR these days for readathons are NG approvals because I need to finish them! 😛
These sound like some great picks! I have Seasonal Fears on my TBR too (though I don’t know if I’ll get to it this month) and I’m really curious about When Women Were Dragons.
