February Sci-Fi Link-Up

February Sci-Fi Link-Up

A month gone already! I hope you’ve been enjoying your science fiction reading and I’m happy that Zoo City was a hit for our first group read. I’ll be writing a wrap-up post summarising everyone’s thoughts, so if you haven’t shared your review yet, add it to the January link-up now. The optional readalong for February is Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick.

Once you’ve read a sci-fi book and written down your thoughts please add your link below. If you don’t have a blog you can link to any public book-sharing site. Please add the direct link to your review. Any links not relevant to the challenge will be removed.

If you wish to be entered into the giveaway, please make sure your February reviews have been added by 2nd March.

Please add both YOUR NAME and the TITLE OF BOOK in the “Your Name” field.

Done. I probably would never have read this if it hadn't been the group choice, so thank you!

I am being encouraged to read some great Science Fiction by participating in this group. With When Gravity Fails my only regret is that I did not read it sooner.

For this challenge, I'm reading some Sci-Fi classics. This mont h I read The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells and enjoyed it a lot! Highly recommended.

Breezing through a re-read of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? 256 pages is nothing when it comes to this book.

I read a really obscure one this month – A Rose for Armageddon by Hilbert Schenck. It had some interesting ideas but it was kind of a strange book overall.

I'm back on familiar ground! But this is the first Philip K Dick story I've read and I was only vaguely aware of its connection to Blade Runner. I think I'm going to have to dip in to more stories from around the same time as this was written as I really enjoyed this.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? has been on my TBR list for a while. I'm glad you picked it for this month; I loved it and will definitely be re-reading.
