I think the warmer weather has spurred me on to read more! Either that or I’ve had a crop of good books recently. I definitely recommend reconsidering Me Before You if you were put off by the pink on the cover, it is such a powerful read. I'm reading Bleak House by Charles Dickens and One Good Turn by Kate Atkinson. I am enjoying the reading, but I have to elaborate on them for college and I feel a little bit stressed, in case I miss something.
Emerald City sounds like a great, mystery reading. Oh, what would be both do without crime and mystery novels? 🙂
still working my way through the Independent Foreign Fiction List,, of which my favourite is set in 17th century Iceland, although it is closely followed by one set in paris's gay scene in the 1980's
I have Me before you on my TBR list after reading a very very good review. However, I am a bit hesitant as it sounds incredibly sad, and books as downers is nothing I need right now…Will wait a little longer.
Oh yes, it is incredibly sad and is still stuck in my head several days later so would say it's best to wait until you're in the right mood for that type of book.
