I had a major reading and blogging slump last month, which you may not have noticed because somehow I still managed to get things on the blog each week. It seems to have subsided now and I’m back to enthusiastic me. If you do find yourself losing your mojo, the best thing you can do is try and forget about it for a few days and distract yourself with one of your other interests.
I read 11 books in September despite me feeling like I was taking forever to get through them (I think there was a space time distortion going on… perhaps caused by the mojo sapping black hole).
Here’s what made it onto the blog…
Disappointed with: The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa + Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan.
Read and awaiting review: The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes, Parasite by Mira Grant + Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt.
The Best Book in the World blog tour stopped by with a Q+A with Peter Stjernström. I shared the books I’m most looking forward to reading this autumn. I started an experiment with weekly Facebook giveaways (which I need to get caught up on already).

I understand the mojo thing totally, I lost mine for the first half of this year. As you say best to forget about it as it does return 🙂 Look forward to seeing you back to your usual blogging self this month.
I think I'm going through a bit of a blogging slump too 🙁 I have no problem reading the books, it's just the reviewing that I can't really be bothered to do right now. I'm off to university this weekend so hopefully a new start will kickstart my reviewing again :)) Sorry to hear you were disappointed with Boy Meets Boy. I was actually really looking forward to that but now I'm not so sure.
