It’s time for another look at books coming out in the next month. Any month that brings us a new T. Kingfisher is a good month! Yeah, yeah, I know I haven’t caught up with her backlist yet, but I’ve always got room to add more of her books to my TBR. I’m also looking forward to picking up Key Lime Sky ASAP.
As always, dates mostly refer to UK print editions, and so books may already be out in different formats or territories. Links go to Goodreads and * indicates I’ve received a review copy.

There are so many good books coming out in August😁 I’m also excited to read Key Lime Sky, and I just read A Marriage of Undead Inconvenience and it was a lot of fun. I need to check out the Nick Duerden book, I think I would love it!
So many good books to look forward to in August. I still have yet to read a Silvia Moreno-Garcia even though she’s been on my radar for a few years. Someday, lol.
The SMG book I read wasn’t my favourite but I keep meaning to read another, especially since the premises sound good.
So many titles on here I’m excited for too! Not for the Faint of Heart in particular looks sooo cute. Looking forward to Lady Macbeth and Tales of a Monstrous Heart as well. Oh, and I haven’t read from Beth Revis in probably a decade now!
I think I only read one Beth Revis book when she was at the height of popularity! But I’ve seen several people I trust really like this one. Plus it’s a novella.
I’m most excited about Lady Macbeth having adored all of Ava Reids books so far but I have quite a few of these on my TBR and have just added several more. I forgot that Maid & The Crocodile was out so soon. I really need to get on and read the authors debut 🙈 anyway I hope you enjoy all of these and love the variety that you’ve included.
Wow, what a list of books that august has for us! There’s a lot on here I’m really excited for and a bunch I’ve never heard of! I also need to read a ton more T. Kingfisher books but the new one looks so good.
That seems like a lot! How do I only manage to accrue two books for this whole month?? You certainly have your work cut out for you—best of luck!!
Oh no, this isn’t my planned reading, just new books I like the look of. I can’t read everything I want to, hence why my TBR is over 800 books. I might read a third of these in reality.
I have pre-orders for Lady Macbeth and Dead Cat Tail Assassins, though I may rethink them because I think I want to pick up a couple backlist horrors, start accumulating more of that genre! I didn’t know there was a new Silvia Moreno-Garcia due either. 👀
