It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey

I’m off work this week, huzzah! That means I might just catch up on my Goodreads target (it’s been gleefully telling me I’m behind for ages now) as well as stocking up the reviews ready to post. I’m also heading to the Poltergeeks launch on Thursday and hope to see some of you there.

Read last fortnight:

The Dark Heroine by Abigail Gibbs
The Fall of the Stone City by Ismail Kadare
Poltergeeks by Sean Cummings
Coveted by Shawntelle Madison
Paramédico by Benjamin Gilmour
Devil’s Bargain by Rachel Caine
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

Also reviewed:

Fated by Benedict Jacka

Currently reading:

Monsieur by Emma Becker
Grimm Tales by Philip Pullman

Upcoming reads:

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter

Also on the blog:

Monomania | Incoming! | Q+A with Cassandra Rose Clarke
Incoming! | October Sci-Fi Link-Up

Search terms:*

“ellie killing blog”
I hope you aren’t looking for ways to kill Ellies…we’re immortal.

“how to pass the bookworm 2 adventure stage 6”
There’s a bookworm adventure? Isn’t that just reading?

“male spork”
And I always thought sporks were asexual.

“tesco the humorist”
Because supermarkets are oh so funny.

“bookworm video sexy”
Can larvae be sexy?

2nd try: Interesting mix of titles – “The Fall of the Stone City” looks especialyl interesting, as i am following a “city”-theme in my books – will go read your review. Have a (bloody) lovely reading week 🙂 here are my reads

Is The Perks of Being A Wallflower any good? I like the look of it.

It's brilliant! I was all prepared to be disappointed as I don't usually get cult books but it is really well done. Very much about loneliness without it being spelled out. Review should be up this week.

I can't wait to see what you think of Grimm Tales! I've also got a few days off, definitely catching up with reading and jotting down thoughts about books I recently read. Have fun at the Poltergeeks event! My possible bookish event this week is to see Jill Mansell sign at a local store.
