Apparently science fiction writers don’t really do Christmas. I have been trying to find you a festive read for December but going by my own rules of being easily found and not too expensive, there wasn’t really a stand out book. So here are eight titles that a vaguely wintery or festive (I have forgotten why Doomsday Book is on the list but it has a cool cover) for you to choose from if you wish. Or you could just go and read that book you’ve been mean to get round to all year!

View all the linkies here.

As always, you are free to pick your own choice for the challenge as well. I will keep the linkies open until 6th January so you can update them if you’re behind. Prize categories will include those who have read and linked a book for every month of the year, those who have read the group reads and a general one for anyone that has taken part in the challenge.

Once you’ve read a sci-fi book and written down your thoughts please add your link below. If you don’t have a blog you can link to any public book-sharing site. Please add the direct link to your review. Any links not relevant to the challenge will be removed.

Please add both YOUR NAME and the TITLE OF BOOK in the “Your Name” field.
