Escape Through the Pages is hosting today’s Bout of Books challenge: Book Spine Poem. Whenever I start these they go a bit depressing (what is it with book melodramatic titles?) so I thought I’d do a silly one. It’s not even a poem really but you need to an imagine a prim and proper lady saying it who can’t bring herself to say the last word.

Gorgeous photo – and I surely can't be the only person to think that this is a naughty encounter being related with horror by a fusty old aunt? (In my head I'm reading it in Maggie Smith's Downton Abbey voice!) Like, maybe over high tea or something. I'm imagining teacups being dropped in horror. They won't even be able to eat their cucumber sandwiches, so SCANDALISED will Silvia be in her turn! Haha, no? Just me then… 😉
