AKA Showcase Sunday
I love Mayhem‘s cover. Kind of wishing I’d thought to design my blog like that. I have the blood splatter, just not the wrought iron. The crime fiction is starting to back up a bit, hoping that the mood hits soon to pick some of it up. Maybe approaching it from a historical angle will help! I have already read the Karin Slaughter short though. I always have time for my favourites.

Mayhem by Sarah Pinborough (Jo Fletcher Books)
Alex by Pierre Lemaitre (MacLehose Press)
The Scent of Death by Andrew Taylor (HarperCollins)
Cold, Cold Heart by Karin Slaughter (Random House)
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

My Weekly Haul
Ooh, Mayhem sounds really interesting! Hope you enjoy all your new books! 🙂
I have my eyes on Mayhem too, Ellie! Looking forward to your review, because I do want to read some Sarah Pinborough 🙂 You are right, it's a gorgeous cover!
Wow great books, never heard for any of these.
Thanks for stopping by, happy reading! 🙂
I have seen quite a few of books by Karen Slaughter but I have never picked one up. Hope you enjoy your books!
Here's my Showcase Sunday!
Ooh a Jo Fletcher title! I need to give their books a read some time, so far just haven't and they always sound fantastic. I also received The Scent of Death… not sure why? Maybe it's the historical angle? *shrug*
I think they sent it to everyone! Was a bit concerned they'd put me on their crime/thriller list (happens a lot) but a few other people have received it so I think it's just a mass send out.
I'm planning to read Alex by Pierre Lemaitre too – didn't realise an English translation was coming out, but it's got rave reviews here in France.
