AKA Showcase Sunday
I would feel smug about not buying any books this week BUT I still have a large incoming pile. How does that happen? I think I even said I would pass on one of these because I didn’t want to be a grabby-handed proof-hoarder but the book elves thought differently. I am really excited about this pile too. Sometimes I wish there weren’t so many amazing sounding books being published. I am the proverbial child in sweetie shop.
I’m also over-compensating by searching out Kindle bargains and convincing other people to buy them. I’m sorry* if you’ve been a victim. *Not really. There are so many books out there that I want to read that are really rather cheap it feels like Amazon are taking a personal stand against my temporary book-buying ban.
Thanks to Karina for sending me Angel’s Fury too!

Aaaaalll of the pretties! 🙂
I put in my interest for Coldest Girl but passed on the ARC due to my hiatus (assuming this is the ARC?). It sounds fantastic!
Yes! That! I'm pretty sure I said I didn't want to take a copy that someone would get to sooner because BOOK AVALANCHE or some similar words. Hope everyone that begged got a copy, although I think I will read it soon as it's right up my street.
These books sound AMAZING! Adding a few to my wishlist 🙂
Oh gosh I know what you mean, there;s too many books and never enough time to read them! I get so excited when a new book comes through then feel slightly deflated that it'll probably be ages before I can get to it because of my TBR pile!
Hope you are having a great weekend Ellie 🙂

'The Best Book in the World'… wow, now THAT'S going to be awkward if the reviews aren't so good. 😀
Good strategy by the way, sneakily persuading everyone else to buy books to assuage your own guilt. Deliciously devious and VERY effective!
Wow – what a wonderful haul. I'm especially interested in what you think of The Glass Republic – I thought City's Son was such a different book!
You've got a great new stack of books. Hope you enjoy them all!
