Shades of Red & Grey

Inspired by Kara-Karina's cover feature in which she hunts out covers with redheads, I'm rounding up all those covers that match my blog's colour scheme. First up is (nearly) everything on my Goodreads shelves, many I have read already but others are long forgotten. Beware, there are quite a few!

Caused grabby hands of want:

Man in snow:

Paint effects:

Who needs colour?

Who needs pictures?

Trees aren't green:

Silhouettes:

Sketched:

Bloody good:

Stand out from the crowd:

Smokin':

Penguin Modern Classics:

More black and white photography:

Ready for your close-up?

Good to see the back of you:

Apologies for lack of links. This turned into a very time consuming post. You can however view these covers and more on Pinterest which will also include the Goodreads links. You can also use the search box at the top of this blog to look for my reviews. If you follow the Pinterest board you will also get to see me pinning all the red, black and white between posts!

Future editions will see a mix of new releases, golden oldies, more grabby hands of want and even a few disasters when I find them.

  1. What a fun post! I had no idea red/grey/black was so popular on book covers!

  2. I think you've opened Pandora's box, Ellie! There are even more red and black covers than redheaded ones! :) Great post!
P.S. Totally understand about the amount of time you've spent on this post. I have the same problem...

  3. Fun idea for a post. I liked it. I think you should do a wall of real books with this color scheme in your own home. ;-)

  4. Ooooh, how pretty all those book covers look together. I would buy them all if they were displayed together like that.
