IMWAYR is hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey and is a little round-up of the week for bloggers that read.
Death Mask by Kathryn Fox 2/5
Monsieur Linh and His Child by Philippe Claudel 4/5
I think I might have to shelve Gormenghast for a bit as I seem to be reading it in smaller and smaller chunks each week and therefore am so far behind the readalong group.
The Magicians by Lev Grossman
The Beast of the Camargue by Xavier-Marie Bonnot
Blow on a Dead Man’s Embers by Mari Strachan
Sympathy for the Devil by Justin Gustainis
Beautiful Thing by Sonia Faleiro (Canongate)
Until Thy Wrath Be Past by Asa Larsson (Quercus)
The Golden Mean by Annabel Lyon (newbooks I think)

I would find working for an MP psychologically distressing too. Has anyone checked in on Katy recently? https://t.co/M75gdF0JmG

I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy your books.
My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/07/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-48.html
How are you finding The Magicians? I quite enjoyed that, a reading group read a few months ago. Btw I haven't stopped following only through GFC. I follow via networked blogs, FB and twitter.
I'm really enjoying it though it's probably a bit more demanding than I was expecting, but not in a bad way! Should have it finished in time to review tomorrow evening.
Great list! Enjoy them all 🙂
I struggled with Gormenghast too. I read the first book quite quickly, waded through the second with difficulty and then took about 3 months to finally reach the end of the third! I hope you enjoy your other books better.
Gormenghast is on my someday TBR but it has the feel of a wintry book to me, so I might tackle when it's gray here. What do you think of the Magicians so far?
Some interesting looking books! Enjoy!
