I can't wait to read "Do Androdis dream of electrical sheep?" but I haven't bought it yet and my pile of books will get bigger in a few days thanks to my family.
I'll let you know when I read it though 🙂 Promised!
I have Zoo City waiting for me, and I hope to get to it this month, but in the mean time I read All Clear by Connie Willis, time travel back to WWII.
I enjoyed it, but felt it was overlong & dragged in places unfortunately.
Always nice to start the year off with cyborgs!
I did the audio of Zoo City and reviewed it back in November. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
My first ever encounter with proper sci-fi went quite well!
Thanks for choosing Zoo City and giving me the excuse to go out and get it. Loved it.
Done 🙂
Have just read it – and much to my astonishment actually quite enjoyed it!
I've just finished Zoo City, it is a great book. Thanks for the extra prompt to get stuck into it 🙂
A bit of dystopia done. Now on to spaceships in Embassytown by China Mieville and Suface Detail by Iain M. Banks.
Oh, I do like spaceships.
More dystopia with Wyndham's classic from the fifties. Next I plan to traverse the realm of cyberpunk with When Gravity Fails by George Alec Effinger. Thanks for the recommendation of Zoo City.
I decided this challenge was the perfect excuse to go for one of Jules Verne's books, so I read Journey to the center of the Earth this month. And I really liked it! I also add here the link to my review of The Walking Dead. I read it for another challenge, but it's Science Fiction too. It is OK if I link more than one review per month, right?
Yes as long as they were read in January. Each link gets an entry into the giveaway.
I finished Embassytown on Jan.31st., so I guess it belongs here 🙂
It's very good!
I have been trying to tweet everyone's links but have fallen behind. Thanks to everyone who's linked up, been a great selection so far.
Apologies for the tardiness, must do better with the next one!
And in my rush to post, I've forgotten to include that I read Zoo Story on my link. Sorry again…
