Fortunately I had lots of reviews stuffed up my sleeves last week as I didn’t get a whole lot of reading done! As always, I’ve cursed the “upcoming reads” from last week and completely forgotten about them so this week’s upcoming is one I’m rather excited about getting stuck into. That might work better…

Island of Wings by Karin Altenberg
Charlotte Street by Danny Wallace
Half Sick of Shadows by David Logan
The Testimony by James Smythe

I'm rereading The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. I preordered book three in the trilogy and will be going to pick it up this weekend. So I'd like to have the other books finished before I get my hands on the new one.
I really like the sound of all your books this week. I have taken a note of them. Although who knows when I will get round to reading them. Too many books to read.
At the moment I'm flipping between The Quantum Thief by Hannu Rajaniemi, My Name on his Tongue by Laila Halaby & Hagakure: The Book of the Samurai by Yamamoto Tsunetomo
Oh I remember seeing Heart-Shaped Bruise in Waterstones aaaaages ago and thinking it looked interesting. I'll keep an eye out for your review and maybe I'll finally take the plunge!
I love the cover of Hollow Pike too.
