Forgive me for combining posts this week but IMWAYR and BoB wrap-up consist mostly of the same things. Due to frantic Bout of Books reading and a few evenings of real life stuff, I am behind in my reviews but they will appear within the week.
So my goals! I think Amanda managed to get into Twitter jail for every chat and I was witness to it twice so I think I can tick off that goal. I am nearing the end of Railsea now and read a bit of Ashes so I sort of read 5 books in total although not the same 5 I set out to. Tick. I also met a few new Twitter friends although I didn’t get around a lot of blogs. Really, I need to not be at work to make BoB effective! Half a tick. I’m not convinced the Curse of the Readathon has gona away either so no tick for that.
A big thanks for all the hard work Amanda puts into this. I know it must be stressful trying to organise and take-part and answer all our stupid questions. You are much appreciated!
P.S. If you’re taking part in my sc-fi challenge, there’s a poll on the right —>

Yay for the books read and goals met. Fun catching up with you on Twitter. ๐

Well done for getting through your (almost) 5 books. Doesn't matter that they weren't your intended ones, I'm sure the ones you did read are a weight off your pile, right? I loved the twittery-social side of this read-a-thon ๐
I feel like I should qualify that while the vast majority of questions are NOT stupid, I do get asked some of the same ones over and over again, even after I've added it to the FAQ page, or addressed it in our daily post. I try my best not to get too upset about it, but it does increase my work load.
And yes. I got into Twitter jail all three Twitter chats with my personal account, and once with the BoB account as well. The latter being a complete accident.
I went off my list for my reading goal too, so I think it counts even if you didn't get the original ones read. ๐
The great thing about Bout-of-Books is that EVERYTHING counts! Even goals that include jailing our host! Actually that and having fun were the two most important goals for any of us, so yay! ๐
Congrats on reading so much and taking part in twitter chats. I wish I could have been there for them.
Here is my progress post.
