AKA Showcase Sunday
I bought a Kobo Touch this week as they’re currently only £30 from WH Smith. After hearing this news, my Kindle decided to throw itself off the bedside table and hide under the bed. I’m pretty sure I’ll still use the Kindle, there’s lots unread on there and it’s just easier for NetGalley. But it’s also nice to have options. Kobo is way prettier, it’s white with a blue “padded” back.

The Three by Sarah Lotz (Hodder)
Cemetery Girl by Charlaine Harris + Christopher Golden (Jo Fletcher)
Season to Taste by Natalie Young (Tinder Press)
We Are Here by Michael Marshall (Orion)
The Wicked We Have Done by Sarah Harian (Headline)
Bought:
Tinder by Sally Gardner

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

What a great haul! Three looks great, as does Tinder. And I love your Kobo, looks so pretty! 🙂
Happy reading!
Yay for a new e-reader! And all the lovely books!
I love your pictures. They're like book noir – all dark and moody lol
Great haul! And that Kobo looks so good. I want one too 🙂 Enjoy all your new books.
Season To Taste sounds like a funny book. Kobo is so pretty, definitely looks sleeker in the white. Enjoy 🙂

My Showcase Sunday 🙂
That Kobo is really pretty! And I can't believe ereaders have gotten so cheap, 30 pounds is an amazing deal. Happy reading (:
I have the same Kobo. I worked at smiths at the time I got it. So when I saw the offer on, I had to get it. 🙂 They are really nice things to play with and you can still get loads of freebies with them 🙂
Enjoy your kobo! 🙂 xx

My Current Giveaway: A book of your choice!
Do you prefer the Kobo to the Kindle? Advantage it's not Amazon but is there as much choice of books? Nice haul!

Publishers release all their books in ePUB and mobi formats so there's no reason you can't get the same books. You don't have to buy from Kobo. I haven't read anything on it yet but it looks the same as kindle. Except I don't like the touchscreen so much but impossible to get a keyboard one these days.
Ooh, your Kobo is so pretty!
The Three and We Are Here both sound really creepy, but they sound so good! I'm really intrigued by The Wicked We Have Done too. I'm definitely going to be checking those ones out.
Great haul, Ellie! I hope you enjoy them all! 😀
Your Kobo is very nice looking. Awesome list of books. Come check out my stack of books.

I've never picked up and looked at the Kobo properly but I did see the poster just today about the very low price! Looking at your photos eg of the back it looks really nicely designed, attractive.
Hi Ellie,
Thank you for visiting my haul post.
The Three, We Are Here and Tinder all sound really creepy, but I've added them on to my Wish List as a result of your post.
Enjoy your reads. 🙂
Your Kobo looks gorgeous, I love the back cover!
How does the reading experience compare between the kobo and the kindle?
£30?! I need! 😮 Starting to garner an interest in the Kobo.. perhaps. We shall see.
