AKA Showcase Sunday
I’ve been eyeing up the Waterstones edition of The Miniaturist for a while now, but of course wasn’t allowed to buy books before Christmas. So last week I treated myself to a copy as well as a couple of other titles that had failed to appear under the tree.

The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman (Tor)
Smiler’s Fair by Rebecca Levine (Hodder)
The Ice King by M.K. Hume (Headline)
Die Again by Tess Gerritsen (Transworld)
Bought:
The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton
Do No Harm by Henry Marsh
Saga Volume 4 by Brian K. Vaughan + Fiona Staples
Trouble by Non Pratt
We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

Trouble has been sat on my shelf waiting to be read for SO LONG! I really need to start it! I think it'll be my next read after Salvage.

If you haven't read Trouble yet, I absolutely urge you to get to it soon. It's just brilliant – one of my favourites of last year. And it has stayed with me as well.
What a great looking bunch of books! Enjoy!
I must say that I haven't heard of any of your books, but they do look good. I hope you enjoy them.

Trouble is a great book, I can't wait to see what you think of this one. The others I haven't read, but I do recognise some of them.
Enjoy your books and my haul can be found here
Lovely pile, Ellie! It's really hard to resist bookish temptations no matter where you are 🙂 I certainly can't do it in the middle of nowhere in portugal, never mind bookshops nearby. Enjoy all!
I've been eyeing up that copy of The Miniaturist for a while. Every time I go into Waterstones and see that beautiful cover, I'm so tempted to buy it. It's so hard to resist. The Invisible Library sounds like it's going to be a really fun read! Trouble is supposed to be amazing!
Happy reading 😀
I really want to read Do No Harm. I keep NEARLY buying it, so I think it might be one of my next purchases. I've been waiting for it since BEFORE it came out in hardback, I think I've done well to resist this long really. I have a couple of your other books on Mount TBR already too, so hopefully they'll live up to the hype! 🙂
