Half way through the year already! Half of June was taken up holidaying in Northern California. I know, I still haven’t got round to blogging about it but I have to sort out photos first, and that’s a tall order with over a thousand taken. It is a beautiful part of the world and I really recommend it, even if it’s sometimes foggy. Even then, you only need to drive a little bit inland and bam, beautiful weather again!
In the meantime, here’s some elephant seals chilling on the beach (the *big* ones apparently weren’t there):

I read 9 books last month, including a non-fiction and something off the ancient TBR backlog which is something I’m trying to do more of. We’re also trying to visit more places locally, so it’s going to be fun fitting all the books and life stuff into our spare time.
Don’t forget you can enter to win one of these books (a new copy, not a dog-eared, pre-read one!). Just scroll to the bottom to enter. It’s open internationally.
Here’s what made it onto the blog…
