December was a bit of a slow month for books. We always go on a buying ban for non-essentials before Christmas so we don’t ruin each others presents and the blog went on sleep mode over the holidays. I did have a bit of a splurge on ebooks which I haven’t done in ages but there were too many bargains to resist. A lot of these are books that have been recommended by other bloggers over the past year too.

My bookish Christmas presents were of the non-fiction variety and I look forward to reading them over this year. I got vouchers and cash too, but I’m not necessarily going to buy books with them (OK, the cash has already been spent on food, just as good!).
