I really have not been reading much these past two weeks. My thyroid is overreacting again and I guess it’s messing with my concentration. I did however meet many adorable foals in the forest. The stallion has been busy. Squee:

Oh yeah, I also reviewed The Book of Gothel and The Windsor Knot. So that’s only 18 more reviews to write before the end of summer 🀣. I shared the July books on my radar too.

This weekend I finally made a bit of progress on reading and finished My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones. This took me so long to get into, but I liked the premise of the outcast horror fan wanting to see her life turn into a slasher…and then it does. I think it is just a very slow start for a horror, but overall I liked it.

Once I finished that I pounced on The Ends by James Smythe, the final book in the Anomaly Quartet, this one being set on Earth, rather than in space. I loved it, it is rather a hopeful apocalypse, especially considering how the series started out. Full review to follow.
