There are over 60 blogs participating in the Literary Giveaway Blog Hop this weekend so make sure you have a wander around and hopefully find some great new blogs to follow. The hop is hosted by Leeswammes and prizes will be of the more literary presuasion…
Right, I know the rules state “no supernatural” but I believe my two choices are very much literary. Diving Belles is a beautiful collection of short stories where the mythology of Cornwall is interwoven with the lives of normal people. The Testimony, concerns a voice that might be god or aliens… or just a really impressive hoax. These are two books that I believe more people should be reading.

The prize is EITHER a hardback copy of Diving Belles by Lucy Wood OR a hardback copy of The Testimony by James Smythe. I will use The Book Depository if the winner is international so this is only open to countries where they ship to (most places to be fair). Entry is via Rafflecopter and whilst you do not have to follow me, you’ll get extra entries for doing so.

Hi I would love to read Diving Belles – I have seen great reviews of it. Thanks for a lovely giveaway.
This looks like a great giveaway, and I absolutely agree with you that the supernatural can be described in a very literary way. Would Twilight have existed without Bram Stoker?
I like the sound of The Testimony, so please put me down for that one, thanks.
SEAGULLS – Mitsuharu Kaneko
At the fiery rock snout as in mythical times,
the barnacles, crowding, massing, listen to the groans of the earth, the roars of heaven.
Splashes leap deep into the purple cavern, flapping their manes.
The entire seascape of the lucid morning is sent off in briny mists.
At that moment, casting their shadows on the boulders,
the holy lanterns of gold angels offer,
two seagulls fly across the blue darkness. (1)

I read a lovely review of Diving Belles so would love to win that one. Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love a copy of Diving Belles. I read a review of it not too long ago and put it immediately on my list.

Thanks for the giveaway.
On another note, I noticed you're currently reading A Discovery of Witches. How are you liking it? I only finished it a few days ago and I absolutely loved it. If you're interested in my review – it's on my blog 😀
I've had The Testimony on my Amazon wishlist ever since reading your review but I'm trying to keep expenses down this month so definitely appreciate the chance to win it!
I'd love to enter your giveaway! Thanks for offering these two books!
