Waaah why has my hayfever hit me now? Or maybe it’s the dreaded lurgy? At least Anna and the French Kiss has been distracting me nicely and I’ve polished off a cinnamon bun, fresh out the oven. Yum! And we’ll soon be ordering our gourmet pizzas. I should be finished my first book soon and then I’ll probably read The Yellow Wall-Paper for the readalong. You can get the ebook for free if you want to join in.

I loved your book selection! Congrats on the amount of money your have raised for charity!
There is a LOT of hayfever and lurginess going round right now. I'm hoping the sudden rain showers today haven't done that thing where they bring the pollen down out of the atmosphere JUST far enough to make your hayfever worse but not far enough to damp it all down properly. The Yellow Wall-paper might be next for me too; my current read's taking forever even though the print's huge. COME ON ELLIE (clarification: me Ellie, not you Ellie), GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR. 😀
Hi there! I'm here to cheer you on from Texas. Sorry about your hay fever. I'm fighting a bit of headache myself right now. Pizza sounds good though. Hope you can push on through and enjoy the rest of your reading time. Yay, Team Mr. Popper!!
Irene from Team Mr. Popper here. I hope you're enjoying the readathon so far. Please remember that it's all about having fun, so if you feel more like snacking than reading, then go ahead. This event is the perfect excuse for snacking!
I'm sure you'll reach your goal. You can do this!
