I have a finished a book! Phew. However I don’t want to make The Immortal Rules sound like a struggle, it’s a great book (more about that later) but it’s just quite long. Readathons are not the times for reading lengthy books so I’m going to go find something shorter to start now.

Woohoo, congrats on finishing your book! Yes, readathon is definitely suited for short, quick reads. But it's also a great time to get to books you've been looking forward to reading 🙂
Yay! Congrats on finishing a book. Not bad considering you can't take part in the full thing because of work. Hope you manage to get up in the morning.
It's true, shorter is better for readathons.
I hear ya! I usually choose shorter YA books, or those smaller hardbacks with larger font for this read-a-thon, my attention span is just too short! I fall asleep too easily since reading relaxes me. The Immortal Rules looks good though, I have not read any Kagawa yet, will have to do that!
So glad you could join us today, and hope you're having a great time!
