AKA Showcase Sunday
Isn’t the cover for Adam Robots fantastic? Hang on a minute…no books bought this week! I did notice I forgot to include book group reads on my list of allowed book buying. I admit, I did order something for book group but at least I will get round to reading that promptly. Both my NetGalley requests were wishlist books too as I have been trying to resist clicking request, which is hard as there seems to be a lot more activity from UK publishers as of late.
Instead I re-organised my Kindle. It took me ages as I don’t think I’ve used the folders for at least a year. Now I can at least see what I have on there for review; although i think I need to print out the covers as I always forget about ebooks unless it’s something I’m dying to read. All my “bargains” have been put into genre folders as well (I buy much more fantasy in ebook form than anything else it would seem).

Adam Robots by Adam Roberts (Gollancz)
Dancing to the Flute by Manisha Jolie Amin (Alma Books)
Devil’s Due by Rachel Caine (MIRA)
Firebrand by Gillian Philip (Tor)
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea.

Dancing to the Flute looks good. And congrats on organising your kindle, that's a massive job!
Some interesting looking books 🙂 Adam Roberts always gets such good covers doesn't he!
Happy reading!
Amazingly my Kindle is quite orderly. And no open requests or books waiting to be reviewed from NetGalley. Let me check my pulse. Yep, still alive and kicking. I guess what it all boils down to is that the whole chaos of physical books finds a neat balance those more restrained bookish realms. For now anyway.
Adam Roberts looks like a pretty cool book. I love the cover!
Here's my Showcase Sunday!
You got Devil's Due already? 😮 NetGalley I presume?
Yeah it's from NetGalley though I think the ebook has been available to buy for a while.
I'm waiting for the paperback. 😀
I see you got seduced by Firebrand too, Ellie! Another book that has been on my wishlist for ages, and now it's on Netgalley! I reason my requests the same way as you – if they are on netgalley, I'll request instead of buying. Enjoy all your reads! 😉
Definitely. I know I want to read these so I will. It's those completely new to me titles that seduce me that are the problem…because I always forget they are on my Kindle. At least my new print copy system means I see them every day.
Ooh, go you not buying books!
Firebrand looks really good! Hope you enjoy it!

Exactly!! I'll need to figure out how not to forget about eBooks I got for review, since I almost always do. Unless it's something I've been dying to read for ages, like the one I'm reading right now. 🙂
